PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

Welcome to 180 Degrees Consulting at the University of Michigan! Whether you are a potential client interested in our services or a student interested in joining our organization, I want to thank you for visiting our site!

We are a consulting organization that works with social enterprises, nonprofits, and socially-minded for-profits, with our single greatest asset being our people. As a consultant for 180 Degrees Consulting, you are given the opportunity to consult for some of the most forward-thinking and impactful organizations around both the country and the world. Although our clients have different goals, all of our projects aim to accomplish the same thing: helping our clients overcome their most pressing challenges in an innovative, practical, and sustainable manner.

In addition to gaining valuable real-world consulting experience, we provide our members with valuable professional development mentorship to aid in recruitment and professional life. Some of these services include resume workshops, interview preparation, career guidance, application assistance, and cover letter workshops. More importantly, we provide an invaluable and diverse network of current and past members who have worked in a variety of industries and roles.

My involvement with 180 Degrees Consulting has been one of the most valuable experiences during my time at Michigan. GLOBAL NETWORK

180 Degrees Consulting is the world's largest university based consultancy. It was founded in Sydney, Australia by Nat Ware. Students at other universities in Australia heard about the concept and 180 Degrees Consulting's mission, and launched branches on their respective campuses. From there, 180DC grew through Asia, then Europe, and eventually the Americas.

The global presence and scale of 180 Degrees Consulting's operations allows consultants from any branch to leverage the expertise of consultants from other branches through our worldwide past project database. Similarly, consultants join the international 180 Degrees Consulting community that provides extensive networking opportunities, collaborative projects, and the opportunity to consult with a different branch if one studies abroad in a city where 180DC is present.
