180 Degrees Consulting is the world's largest university based consultancy. It was founded in Sydney, Australia by Nat Ware. Students at other universities in Australia heard about the concept and 180 Degrees Consulting's mission, and launched branches on their respective campuses. From there, 180 Degrees Consulting grew through Asia, then Europe, and eventually the Americas.

As of January 2017, the 81 branches of 180 Degrees Consulting in 33 countries have completed over 1800 projects for various clients that are positively impacting people around the world.

The University of Michigan Branch of 180 Degrees Consulting was founded in January 2015, and became affiliated with the Ross School of Business in 2016 as a student organization.

The outstanding work of our consultants and Executive Board has been recognized by the International Executive of 180 Degrees Consulting, with our branch winning the following awards:
